Dear Jude,

I keep having a lot of band quizzes but I am not very good on my instrument. The band quizzes are in front of the class and it is embarassing if I mess up. What should I do?

Dear Bad Bander,

Make sure you practice your instrument almost every night. Or ask your band teacher if you may come in for lunch and take these quizzes in private. If you can't come in for lunch, play your instrument in front of your family. That will boost your confidence. Hope I helped.

Dear Jude,

I never have time to do my homework. Everyday when I come home, I start playing on my wii. My friends tell me not to play on it until I finish my homework, but I don't get it! What's the big deal anyway?

Homework is very important to your education. Try listening to your friends and doing your homework before you play wii. If that doesn't work, set a timer for ten or fifteen minutes and play wii. When the timer goes off, stop playing and do your homework. Hope I helped.

My science teacher, Mr. Noodly*, is very fun, but a harsh grader and tough. He gives us hard puzzles, like crosswords and word searches, and my friends and I all spend so long trying to find the answers. Please help me Jude!

Try talking to him. Come in during a time that is convienent for both you and Mr. Noodly, and let him try to help figure out the answers to your puzzles. Explain you are having trouble finding the answers, and ask him for some resources you can use to look for them easier. Hope I could help!
